Alumni, Faculty, Students
You should have your essays for the Fulbright, Marshall and/or Rhodes Fellowships well underway! The internal GVSU deadline is August 16. It's not too late for feedback and guidance!
If you would you welcome a review of the key components of the essays – and an opportunity to brainstorm opening sentences, paragraph structure, closing statements (or some other element of the essays) with the Grand Valley Fulbright Program Advisor and with fellow applicants, sign up for this workshop. This is a fine opportunity to polish opening sentences, to consider paragraph structure, narrative through-lines, brief descriptive anecdotes, and placement of key points of information. The more eyes on your essays, the better! See also Application Help - Writing Personal Statements - Frederik Meijer Office of Fellowships - Grand Valley State University (azarnewsonline.com) for more resources and guidance.
